Home Altar

Here is my devotional space and home altar.  This altar is in my library and study - the Green Room:

 

The cup of Water (well) and seashells; a burning red candle and wand for Fire; burning incense, a knife, and a feather for Air; stones, tree images, carved wood and dirt for Earth.  A statue of a wizard and a Taoist for the Ancestors.  The offering to the Goddesses today is a glass of tequila.  Three cheers for Minerva (Pallas Athena), Mother Earth, and Mercury (Hermes).

I sit in the red chair when chanting, meditating, and making offerings.  Mostly, I favor a Roman Hearth, and use Latin for rituals.  Ita Est!
